The Premises and Security liability practice group, chaired by Partner Stephen Wellinghorst, have been representing premises owners in both New Jersey and New York for many years.
We have represented property owners, from single family homes to small businesses to the largest Mall and casino group in New Jersey. We have defended incidents and causes of action ranging from simple slip and falls, negligent security, as well as complex cases such as third party indemnification and toxic tort exposure. Because we represent a number of national food distributors, we are also experts in defending food borne incidents. We routinely attend and give seminars regarding premises liability as well as maintain memberships with the Defense Research Institute (DRI) and the National Mall Owners Association and the Counsel on Litigation Management (CLM).

We have tried to a conclusion numerous premises liability cases in each of the last ten years.
