Our transportation department, headed by Partner Stephen Wellinghorst, is as technically advanced as any in the State. Mr. Wellinghorst has been representing over-the-road transportation entities such as automobile insurers, rental car companies, private citizens and commercial trucking interests for twenty years. We also have experience with maritime and railroad defense.
We defend general liability, PIP, SIU, cargo and trucking insurance companies and private carriers. We defend simple fender benders to complex, multi-defendant tractor trailer fatalities. We have extensive trial experience incorporating the latest satellite logging and tracking software. With former and current Prosecutors, we are versed with the latest New Jersey civil and criminal motor vehicle laws. We are members of many auto and trucking defense groups and regularly present seminars to continuing legal education programs, insurance companies and private fleet associations.
